Multiobjective optimization helps engineers make design decisions. The Pareto frontier shows tradeoffs between design objectives. The normal constraint method can evenly distribute optimal solutions in the design space. This new development improves the method's ability to generate a representative set of Pareto solutions. Examples show the method performs well compared to other methods.
