The study aimed to improve tomato yield by testing the effects of vermicompost and nitrogen in Ethiopia. Different amounts of vermicompost and nitrogen were applied to tomato plants, and the results showed that plant height was influenced by vermicompost, while the number of branches, clusters, fruits, average fruit weight, and yield were affected by the combination of vermicompost and nitrogen. The best results were seen with 2.8 t/ha of vermicompost and 100 kg/ha of nitrogen, leading to higher plant height, more clusters and fruits, and increased yield. This combination also resulted in the highest economic return.
