The Pandoh river basin in Himachal Pradesh, North India, has water quality issues due to pollution. A study was conducted to assess the surface water quality in the region. Samples were collected and analyzed for various parameters like pH, turbidity, and hardness. The water was found to be alkaline and moderately hard. Geographical information system tools were used to map the area. Further research is needed to fully understand water quality in northern India.
