The article looks at how different countries support agricultural research. They found that high-income countries are increasing their support for research more than low-income countries. As countries get richer, they tend to spend more on agriculture. However, low and middle-income countries are giving as much importance to agricultural research as high-income countries. The data did not support the idea that research is better funded in richer countries.
