Private investment and real income drive economic growth in Malaysia.
The study looked at how public investment, private investment, and real income affected economic growth in Malaysia from 1996 to 2006. They used data from sources like DataStream and Bank Negara Malaysia's annual report. By analyzing the data using Pearson Correlation and regression methods, they found that public investment did not have a significant impact on GDP growth. However, private investment and real income were positively related to economic growth in Malaysia during the period studied.
