The study looked at how imports affect minimum wages in Italy. They found that when imports increased, minimum wages set in contracts decreased by 1.5%. This effect was stronger for contracts with more unskilled workers. However, total wages were not significantly affected by imports, except for highly skilled workers who saw an increase.
