The study looked at how greenhouse gas emissions in Europe are affected by economic activities and climate change. Without changes, economic growth could lead to a big increase in emissions by 2030. The electricity sector and agriculture are the biggest contributors to emissions. If we don't make changes, the region will get warmer and have more extreme weather. But if we take strong action to reduce emissions, we can limit warming to less than 1.5°C. This shows that different industries play a big role in greenhouse gas emissions, and we need to focus on reducing emissions across the whole supply chain to meet our emission reduction goals.
