Macroeconomic factors driving Malaysian stock markets revealed in new study
The article examines how four economic factors affect the Malaysian stock market indices, KLCI and KLSI, from 2007 to 2013. They looked at inflation, GDP, exchange rates, and interest rates. The study found that some of these factors significantly influence the stock market indices, while others do not. Both indices respond similarly to changes in these economic variables. This research helps investors understand what factors impact stock prices in Malaysia.
