Fluorescence of oak and wheat leaves changes with chlorophyll levels. Red oak leaves and wheat leaves at different growth stages show a clear link between fluorescence ratios and chlorophyll content. Even as chlorophyll decreases, the photosynthetic activity of photosystem 2 remains high.
