The study looked at how sustainable entrepreneurship factors affect the success of small and medium-sized businesses in South Africa. They found that financial resources and government support have a positive impact on SME success, while social and environmental factors do not. This suggests that SME operators in South Africa prioritize financial resources over social and environmental issues. The study recommends promoting opportunities that enhance financial resources, entrepreneurship skills, social capital, environmental awareness, and networks to support sustainable entrepreneurship and help SMEs grow.
