Paper Summary

Side weirs in channels were studied to simplify calculations and improve efficiency. Different weir sizes and water flows were tested. Results showed that narrowing the downstream channel by 19% increased flow deflection by 30%. Changing the channel shape reduced water surface fluctuations.
