Tax evasion is a big problem in Iran and Canada. Iranian laws have some weaknesses in punishing tax evaders, like not enough penalties and unclear consequences. On the other hand, Canada has better laws to deal with tax evasion. The goal of this study is to compare the laws in both countries and recommend better ways to prevent tax evasion.
