The study looked at ways to control weeds in direct seeded rice under semi-dry conditions. They found that the best weed control was achieved by hand weeding twice at specific times after sowing, especially when the water level dropped to 10cm below the soil surface. This combination resulted in the lowest weed density and highest weed control efficiency.
