Text messaging interventions improve diabetes management for emerging adults.
The article explores interventions for young adults with type 1 diabetes focusing on habits and routines. Researchers reviewed 11 studies and found that while not all interventions explicitly mentioned habits and routines, text messaging and technology feedback were related to them. These interventions generally improved diabetes self-management and health outcomes, and users had positive experiences. The study suggests that future research should use habits and routines to guide interventions.
