Endogeneity significantly skews vegetable demand estimates in the Philippines!
The study looked at how people in the Philippines buy fruits and vegetables. By using a special analysis method, they found that the prices and incomes of people can affect how much fruits and vegetables they buy. When they compared two models, one with these factors considered and one without, they saw a big difference in the results - up to 187%. This means that not taking into account these factors can lead to wrong conclusions about how people buy fruits and vegetables.
