A study was done to see how using paper mill waste as fertilizer affects the growth of garden peas in the Eastern Himalayas. They found that using 1.0 t/ha of paper mill waste along with a specific type of fertilizer led to the highest yields and profits. The soil health also improved with this combination, making it a good choice for growing peas in the region.
