Transforming Cities Through Cultural Narratives: A Vision for Urban Renewal
Cities can use stories to connect people with urban spaces. By using narratives, cities can create a relationship between the environment and its inhabitants. A model called "Perception-Interaction-Make sense" can help design these narratives. A case study in Iran showed how regional culture can be preserved in modern cities. Data can also be used to tell stories in smart cities. This research helps build unique regional cultures in a global world and guides the development of urban culture in city renewal.
