New Study Reveals Ideal Temperature for Disabled Patients in Healthcare Buildings
The study looked at how disabled patients in French healthcare buildings cope with heat in summer. They used surveys and sensors to measure how people felt and the actual temperature. They found that the neutral temperature where people feel most comfortable is 23.7 °C. Patients were able to adapt to heat with a coefficient of 1.261. A new model was created to predict the best temperature for disabled patients in these buildings, which is 25.0 °C.
