New Hybrid Fiber Mix Boosts Strength and Workability of Concrete!
The researchers conducted an experiment to find the best combination of macro and micro steel fibers for stronger and more workable hybrid fiber-reinforced concrete (HFRC). They discovered that using both types of fibers together at a constant volume improved the concrete's properties. The number of fibers used was more important than the total volume. They also developed equations to predict the performance of HFRC based on the fiber combination.
