The study developed a new way to measure how livable a city is based on its climate conditions in China. By using 18 indicators related to climate, they created an index to show how well cities can adapt to climate change. This helps decision-makers plan for sustainable development and economic growth while also addressing climate challenges. The research shows that climate services in China can provide valuable information to help cities take action against climate change and make informed decisions.
