Integrated Nutrient Management Boosts Chickpea Protein Content and Quality.
A study was done in Central India to see how different ways of managing nutrients affect chickpea growth. They looked at seven methods, including using compost and special bacteria. The researchers found that using these methods helped chickpeas grow better and have more nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and sulfur. This means the chickpeas were healthier and had more protein when they were ready to harvest.
