Dams in Wang River not significantly impact sediment supply to CPR.
The Wang River in Thailand supplies sediment to the Chao Phraya River Delta, which has been losing shoreline. Three dams were built in the Wang River, but only two reduced sediment flow downstream. The dams didn't significantly affect sediment supply to the Chao Phraya River system because the lower basin compensated for the reduction. The location of the dams and the sediment load along the river determine their impact.
