The study looked at different investment strategies in the Indian stock market and found that Value Averaging (VA) outperformed the popular Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) in terms of returns for most companies. VA was especially successful in consumer goods, financial services, and industrial manufacturing sectors, with small cap companies showing the most promise. It was also noted that considering risk factors alongside returns is crucial for making smart investment decisions. The findings offer valuable insights for mutual funds, financial brokers, and individual investors in India.
