Farmers Boost Mustard Yields by 21% with Organic-Inorganic Fertilizer Blend
The researchers tested different ways to feed mustard plants in India to see which one made them grow the best. They tried using different combinations of natural and man-made nutrients. They found that giving the plants a mix of 50% man-made nutrients, natural fertilizer, poultry manure, and gypsum made them produce the most seeds and oil. This method resulted in the highest seed and oil yields compared to other combinations tested. The control group, which didn't receive any special nutrients, had the lowest seed and oil yields.
