The study looked at how economic growth affects the environment in Sri Lanka. They found that as the economy grows, environmental degradation also increases, and there is no point where pollution starts to decrease. Factors like energy consumption, urbanization, trade openness, tourism, and financial development play a role in environmental quality. The government and private sector need to use energy-saving and eco-friendly technologies to protect the environment.
