The researchers crossed different sorghum lines to see which combinations produced the best grain and fodder yields. They found that some crosses had significantly positive effects on both grain and fodder yield, with one particular combination, AKRMS-80-1A(39) x PKV-Kranti, showing the highest effects. This cross had a 25.93% increase in grain yield and a 29.67% increase in fodder yield compared to the checks. Overall, nine cross combinations showed the best results for both grain and fodder yield, indicating their potential for improving sorghum production.
