Financial behavior key to satisfaction, not financial knowledge or risk tolerance.
The study looked at what factors predict financial satisfaction, focusing on financial knowledge, socio-economic factors, financial risk tolerance, and financial behavior. They surveyed 107 people in Palembang City aged 20-55. Results showed that financial knowledge and socio-economic factors positively influenced financial behavior and satisfaction. Financial risk tolerance did not directly affect satisfaction, but financial behavior partially mediated the relationship between financial knowledge and satisfaction. Socio-economic factors had a perfect mediation with financial satisfaction.
