DPS significantly impacts property share prices, EPS and NTA less influential.
The study looked at how earnings per share, dividend per share, and net tangible assets per share affect the prices of property shares on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Data from 1991 to 1998 for 13 property companies were analyzed. The researchers found that dividend per share has a significant impact on share prices, while earnings per share and net tangible assets per share do not. A regression model was created to predict share prices, but its accuracy depends on other external factors.
