The researchers tested using powdered moringa oleifera seed extract to treat greywater. They wanted to see how well it worked by changing factors like mixing time, pH, and dose. The results showed that moringa oleifera reduced COD by 71.2%, BOD by 85.3%, turbidity by 98.8%, and TSS by 89%. The best pH for treating the water was between 6-8, and the optimal dose of the extract was 400 mg/L with filtration and 500 g/L without filtration. Overall, using moringa oleifera helped decrease the levels of harmful substances in the greywater.
