Multinational brewing companies in Ethiopia have introduced Contract Farming Arrangements with small-scale barley farmers. A study was conducted to assess the progress and challenges of these arrangements. Interviews with managers and farmers revealed that sponsoring companies provide support like quality seeds, input credit, and training. However, some farmers have concerns that need to be addressed for better outcomes.
