Intercropping sorghum with cowpea in a 2:1 row ratio resulted in higher green and dry fodder yields, sorghum equivalent yield, net returns, and benefit cost ratio. This approach was found to be economically viable and beneficial for dairy entrepreneurship by providing consistent and regular supply of green fodder to sustain milk production.
