The researchers tested different herbicides to control weeds in greengram crops in Andhra Pradesh. They found that a herbicide mixture containing pendimethalin and imazethapyr was the most effective in reducing weed density. Another mixture with fomesafen and fluazifop-p-butyl was also successful in controlling weeds without harming the greengram plants. These herbicides could help farmers manage weeds in their greengram crops during both kharif and rabi seasons.
