Optimal nitrogen and potassium levels boost sweet corn nutrient content.
A study looked at how different levels of nitrogen and potassium affect the nutrients in sweet corn plants. They tested 15 combinations of nitrogen and potassium levels in a field experiment. The highest amounts of available nutrients, plant nutrient content, dry matter per plant, and plant nutrient uptake were found with the highest nitrogen level (250 kg/ha) and the highest potassium level (100 kg/ha). The best results were seen with a combination of 250 kg of nitrogen and 100 kg of potassium per hectare.
