The article discusses how industrial design is evolving to include design management, design thinking, and technology. Traditional design education focuses on products, but now it's expanding to include business strategies, innovation, and service design. The rise of Industry 4.0 allows for smart systems, products, and services. To adapt to these changes, students at Bahçeşehir University worked on Smart Product Service System projects. They learned about system design, product design, and interface design, gaining a better understanding of the design process and its impact on businesses.
