The study looked at different ways of growing rice to see which method produced the most rice using the least amount of water. They tested traditional farming methods with regular fertilizer, improved methods, and a mix of organic and chemical fertilizers. The results showed that the best method was using urban waste compost with half the usual chemical fertilizer. This method gave the highest rice yield and water productivity, making it the most efficient way to grow rice.
