The researchers conducted a field experiment to study how different varieties, spacing, and fertilizer levels affect the yield of Greengram in a rainfed area in Karnataka. They found that the variety KKM-3 had the highest grain and straw yield compared to other varieties. Planting KKM-3 on July 15th resulted in the highest yield. Using the recommended spacing of 30x10 cm also led to higher grain yield. Additionally, applying a higher dose of fertilizer increased both grain and straw yield of Greengram.
