Optimizing sulphur levels boosts yellow mustard yield and farmer profits.
A study was conducted to see how different levels of sulphur and plant spacing affect the yield and economics of yellow mustard. They found that using 60 kg of sulphur per hectare and spacing the plants 40x20 cm apart resulted in the highest seed yield, stover yield, and profits. This means that by using the right amount of sulphur and spacing, farmers can increase their mustard crop yield and make more money.
