Government spending on health and defense boosts economic growth in East Africa.
This study looked at how government spending in different sectors like health, education, defense, and agriculture affects economic growth in East African countries from 1985 to 2015. They used data from reports and statistical sources to analyze the relationship between government spending and economic growth. The results showed that spending on health and defense had a positive impact on economic growth, while spending on agriculture and education did not have a significant effect. To improve economic growth, it is important for governments in East Africa to have a clear spending strategy and manage their budgets efficiently.
