Real estate customers' buying preferences are influenced by factors like waste disposal availability and structural changes needed after natural disasters. Researchers surveyed real estate consumers in Thrissur district to identify these extrinsic factors affecting their purchasing decisions for villas and apartments. The study found that waste disposal facilities play a significant role in customers' purchase decisions. Additionally, customers expressed opinions on necessary structural changes in flats and villas following natural calamities in Kerala.
