Revolutionizing wood waste management with high-efficacy biochar production methods!
Wood waste-derived biochar can be customized for different environmental uses, but we need to understand how to make it effectively. By testing different heating temperatures and times, researchers found that 650 ℃ is good for the structure, while 750 ℃ is key for creating pores. Longer heating times make more pores without losing material. Treating the biochar with steam, CO2, or acid makes it even better for special uses by increasing pore volume. Acid treatment removes harmful substances. This study helps us make biochar from wood waste in a way that is good for the environment.
