Optimal sowing dates and nitrogen levels boost wheat yields significantly!
The researchers studied how different planting times and nitrogen levels affect the growth and yield of wheat varieties. They found that planting wheat on November 20 resulted in higher yields compared to planting on December 10. The variety Raj-4037 had the best yield and growth characteristics among the three varieties tested. Using 120 kg of nitrogen per hectare led to the highest growth parameters and nutrient content in the soil after harvest. Increasing nitrogen levels up to 120 kg per hectare increased grain and straw yield, with 80 kg per hectare also showing good results.
