Islamic banking in Pakistan is growing, but there is a gap between what people think Islamic banks are and what they actually experience. A study compared the perceptions of customers and managers of Islamic banks. The findings show that there is a difference between how Islamic banks are perceived and how they actually operate. This suggests that Islamic banks need to take steps to bridge this gap in order to further develop their banking system.
