Training needs assessment was conducted for Assistant Agricultural Officers in Manipur. The main focus areas identified were extension education, organization of farms and farm women, extension teaching methods, participatory planning, and mass media in agricultural development. Extension education was rated as the most crucial training need by the officers, followed by farm organization and extension teaching methods. This highlights the importance of training in these areas to enhance agricultural production and development.
