Reclamation suitability evaluation helps decide how to reuse damaged land. The limit condition method is commonly used for this. In Pingdingshan Tianan ten coal mine, the method was used to assess damaged land for reclamation. Six main factors were considered: field slope/land flatness, ponding, depth of collapse, soil texture, soil layer thickness, and irrigation/drainage. By combining these factors with local land use plans and residents' wishes, the direction for reclamation was determined.
