The study looked at how groundnut farming in Chhattisgarh plains has changed over the years. Data from 2009-2019 showed that the area and production of groundnuts decreased significantly, while productivity stayed about the same. This means that even though less groundnuts were grown, the amount produced per area didn't change much.
