Crop production in Bangladesh faces challenges due to land and labor.
Bangladesh has made great progress in growing food despite challenges like land degradation and climate change. This study looked at how different factors affect crop production in the country. They used a method called Cobb-Douglas production function and looked at things like land, labor, and capital. They found that using more land and labor can actually decrease crop production, while using more fertilizer can increase it. This means that to keep up with the growing population, farmers in Bangladesh need to use new technology and better farming practices.
