Ukrainian scientists making strides in developing COVID-19 vaccines domestically.
Scientists in Ukraine are working on creating domestic RNA and subunit vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes COVID-19. This research is being conducted at various institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, including the Institute of Biochemistry, the Institute of Cell Biology, the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and the Institute of Microbiology and Virology.
