Chickpea Farmers Boost Yields and Profits with Eco-Friendly Fertilizer Combo
A study was done to see how different nutrient management methods affect the growth and yield of chickpeas. They tested nine treatments and found that using 75% of the recommended fertilizer, along with farmyard manure, vermicompost, and phosphobacteria, gave the best results. This combination led to higher profits and a better cost-benefit ratio compared to other treatments. So, for growing chickpeas in well-watered conditions, using 75% of the recommended fertilizer along with farmyard manure, vermicompost, and phosphobacteria is the way to go for a good yield and income.
