A study was conducted to see how different types of fertilizers affect rice growth. They tested 11 different treatments on rice plants and found that using a mix of NPK fertilizer, organic manure, blue green algae, sulfur, zinc, and iron resulted in the highest grain yield, straw yield, and overall plant yield. Adding organic manure to the standard NPK fertilizer increased the yield by 2.75%. This mix also led to higher protein and starch content in the rice, as well as better recovery of whole rice grains.
