Unemployment in Malaysia Unaffected by Economic Factors, Study Finds.
The study looked at how different economic factors like GDP, inflation, foreign investment, and interest rates affect unemployment in Malaysia from 1982 to 2017. They used tests to see if the data was stable and to check for causality between the variables. The main finding was that these factors don't really impact unemployment in Malaysia. When they did regression analysis, they found that GDP and foreign investment were linked to lower unemployment, while inflation and interest rates were linked to higher unemployment in Malaysia.
